Delegate Steve  announced that 100 Republican leaders have endorsed his campaign for County Executive.

“I am honored to have been endorsed for the primary election by so many conservative leaders who know me for my lifelong commitment to limited government, success in business and service to our community,” Schuh said. “These are folks who have made a real difference in Anne Arundel County and the State of Maryland. I am proud to include each of these leaders among my friends and colleagues. I want to particularly thank Governor Robert L. Ehrlich, Jr. for his endorsement. He inherited a $1 billion deficit and turned it into a $1 billion surplus. These are the kind of results we need in Anne Arundel County.”

The “List of 100” endorsements includes Congressman Andy Harris, former Congresswoman Marjorie Holt, former County Executives Bob Pascal and John Gary, House of Delegates Minority Leader Nic Kipke, Clerk of the Court Robert Duckworth, Register of Wills Lauren Parker, 37 sitting State Delegates, seven Republican Central Committee members, and 56 other Republican elected officials, activists and club officers.

“Steve Schuh has the right combination of experience in business, government, education, and the nonprofit sector to lead Anne Arundel County effectively,” Governor Ehrlich said. “That’s why I support Steve Schuh for County Executive.”

Schuh serves as Chairman of the County Delegation and a member of the Economic Matters Committee in the Maryland General Assembly. He is also proud to be a small business owner in Anne Arundel County.

“Steve Schuh has a nearly three-decade record of helping build the Republican Party,” said former State Party Chairman Alex Mooney. “I am confident that, as Anne Arundel County Executive, he will continue to play a leading role in helping the Party to grow in Anne Arundel County and the State of Maryland.”

“Steve Schuh has the right vision for Anne Arundel County: less government, lower taxes and fees, and a business-friendly economy that creates jobs and economic opportunity,” said Congressman Andy Harris.
