Odenton Fire Causes $300K Damage To 3 Homes

At 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 25, 2013, Anne Arundel County Firefighters were dispatched to a reported dwelling fire in the 7600 block of Found Artifact Drive in Odenton.  The first unit to arrive on the scene reported heavy smoke from a two-story villa style townhome. Crews immediately requested a 2nd Alarm bringing a total of 48 Firefighters to the scene that brought the fire under control within 40 minutes.

No one was home at the time of the incident that damaged three residences and destroyed a vehicle. Total damage is estimated at $300,000.  The three adults that were displaced did not require the assistance of Red Cross.  No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
