The Anne Arundel County Department of Health, in conjunction with the Anne Arundel County Executive’s Office, the County Department of Aging and Disabilities, and the County Department of Social Services, is presenting free public forums to answer questions about health care reform. Representatives from HealthCare Access Maryland (HCAM) are scheduled to attend. HCAM is the Central Region Connector responsible for helping uninsured residents in the County learn about, apply for and enroll in health insurance. The program will provide information on insurance coverage, tax credits and subsidies; available health care services for adults and children; consumer assistance; and important dates.
