Great ‘Must-See’ Artist At Rams Head On Stage – James Hunter Six

| August 12, 2013 | 0 Comments

hunterIt is not often when an artist comes to Annapolis who has toured with Aretha Franklin, Etta James, Van Morrison and Willie Nelson. Even more so when he has appeared on Leno, Letterman, and Conan. And for the trifecta, has received critical raves from the New York Times and USA Today.  Well, it’s happening– James Hunter is bringing the James Hunter Six to the Rams Head On Stage on Wednesday, August 14th.

With his last two albums, 2006’s Grammy-nominated ‘People Gonna Talk’ and 2008’s ‘The Hard Way’, James Hunter delivered a classic yet perpetually modern brand of rhythm and blues that captivated listeners across generations and earned him two Billboard Blues #1 hits. His new release, ‘Minute By Minute’ (February 2013) marks a pivotal movement in this unique artist’s career—not only because it arguably contains his best writing, singing, and playing to date, but because it signals James’ return to the studio following the loss of his wife Jacqueline, who died of cancer in October 2011.

Some have called James Hunter a rarity–British blue-eyed soul.

Limited tickets are still available. Come on out and have one of the best Wednesday nights of your life! Get your tickets here!
