3 Killed, Several Injured In Anne Arundel Crash. Three people were killed on Tuesday in a multi-vehicle crash in Anne Arundel County. Rescue crews responded to southbound Route 3 and Route 32 in Millersville just before 5 p.m. Officials said it appears a flatbed truck struck a line of stopped vehicles, setting off a chain-reaction accident involving five other vehicles.
Rape Hearing Begins For Former Naval Academy Football Players. A hearing has begun to determine whether three former U.S. Naval Academy football players will face a court-martial on charges that they sexually assaulted a female midshipman. Midshipmen Tra’ves Bush, Eric Graham and Josh Tate were at an Article 32 hearing at the Washington Navy Yard on Monday. The hearing resembles a civilian grand jury hearing.
Annapolis Police Searching For Soap Bandit. Police in Annapolis are looking for a man who they said stole soap products from a pharmacy. Annapolis police said the man stuffed soap products into a black backpack and fled toward a construction site behind the CVS in the 500 block of South Cherry Grove Avenue on July 31.
Police: Assault Reported During Deaf School’s Field Trip To Annapolis. Anne Arundel County police are investigating an alleged assault involving two students from Gallaudet University’s secondary school during a school trip to Annapolis. Police spokesman Justin Mulcahy said Tuesday that authorities are conducting a criminal investigation into the alleged incident on a bus in the county on Saturday morning. He said police were notified Sunday night.
