Man Charged In Connection With Dog AttackAnne Arundel County police said a Baltimore man has been charged in connection with a dog attack. Officers were called to the 1300 block of Riverwood Way in Riviera Beach for a reported aggressive animal and assault complaint around 8:50 p.m. Tuesday.

Annapolis High Assistant Coach Dies In Bicycle Accident.   A bicyclist struck by a car in the Davidsonville area has died, according to Anne Arundel County police. Officers were called around 5:20 p.m. Wednesday to southbound Riva Road near Maple Creek Lane, where a car struck the bicyclist. The driver remained at the scene. Patricia Carolyn Cunningham, 50, of Annapolis, was taken to Anne Arundel Medical Center with serious injuries. She later died.

Maryland Live! To Open New Poker Facility. Maryland Live! casino will open its new two-story poker room Wednesday in a facility that’s expected to draw gamers from all over the country. “We’re in our new poker room. This is one of the largest rooms, not only in the region, but in the entire country,” said Joe Weinberg, president of Cordish Co.

Construction Worker’s Leg Nearly Severed In Odenton Construction Accident. A construction worker’s leg was nearly severed after an accident in Anne Arundel County. Crews responded to a worker suffering from a serious injury at a construction site in the 2600 block of Conway Road in the Odenton area around 8:15 a.m. Thursday.
