After speculation that the Virgin Mobile FreeFest might leave Maryland, Virgin Mobile announced today that the FreeFest will be back again on September 21, 2013 at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia. This all day music festival is indeed free for most.
Tickets will go on “sale” and will likely “sell” out in a matter of minutes if not faster. Additional tickets and upgraded experiences are usually available for purchase. In the past, Virgin Mobile has also given tickets to people for volunteer hours spent working with homeless teen causes–an effort very dear to Sir Richard Branson.
People who “like” their Facebook page and follow them on Twitter will be given first opportunity to score a free ticket once they are available!
The festival is presented by Samsung.
Mark your calendar for September 21st as this will likely also mark the end of the festival season for 2013. And of course, you can expect Eye On Annapolis to be there once again!
