Workers Help Capture Accused Purse Snatcher. Anne Arundel County police said store employees helped capture two people in connection with an attempted strong-armed robbery in Annapolis. Officers were called to the Graul’s Market in the 1300 block of Cape St. Claire Road for a report of an attempted purse snatching around 10 a.m. Tuesday.
Investigators Believe Glen Burnie Home Invasion Was Targeted. Anne Arundel County police detectives said they believe a home invasion robbery in Glen Burnie was a targeted incident. It happened on the 200 block of Mary Court in Glen Burnie around 5:15 p.m. on Monday. An 82-year-old man told police a man came into the back of his home, displayed a handgun and demanded money.
Knife-Wielding Robber Arrested In Glen Burnie. Anne Arundel County police said they arrested one man in connection with an armed robbery in Glen Burnie. Officers were called to the Walgreen’s Pharmacy in the 6700 block of Ritchie Highway around 4:45 p.m. Monday after a man armed with a knife threatened the store manager. A 24-year-old man told police that a man came into the business, selected electronics and took them to the cashier.
Police Investigate Severn Home Invasion, Robbery. Anne Arundel County police said they are investigating a home invasion robbery in Severn. Officers were called to a home in the 1200 block of Reece Road in Severn for a report of a home invasion robbery. A 21-year-old man and a 25-year-old man told police they were outside of their home when they were approached by three men at gunpoint.
