Man Stabbed By Bicyclist In Glen Burnie

StabbingOn 07/13/13 at just after midnight, Officers from the Northern District responded to the area of 1200 block of Leonard Drive for a report of a stabbing.

Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim, 34 year old male, who stated an unknown male suspect riding a bicycle approached him in the area of the bike trail near Freetown Elementary. The suspect produced a knife and stabbed the victim in the neck and stole his laptop bag from him. The suspect fled towards Freetown Rd on his bicycle.  Officers canvassed the area for the suspect but were unable to locate him. The victim sustained a laceration to the neck and is in stable condition at the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Suspect 1:       Black male, approximately 30-40 years old, 6’0”, gray facial hair, wearing all dark clothing and riding a mountain bike.
