Police Arrest Man In Casino Robberies.  Anne Arundel County police have found and arrested a man they said held up two victims with a knife while trying to rob them at Maryland Live Casino. Police said the culprit robbed a 35-year-old woman in her car around 7:45 a.m. Sunday and tried to rob a 71-year-old woman as she was about to get on an elevator at the casino.

Woman Who Survived bay Bridge Crash ‘Didn’t Want To Drown’. A Calvert County woman who survived a plunge off the Chesapeake Bay Bridge after a crash last week said she decided she didn’t want to die and swam to safety. Morgan Lake, 22, of Sunderland, was on her way to visit friends and relatives in Philadelphia on Friday when her car was hit by a tractor-trailer, according to the Maryland Transportation Authority Police. The car teetered on the wall for a time and then fell for what Lake said “felt like eternity.”

Man Seriously Injured In Bay Bridge Collision.  A head-on crash shut down a portion of the westbound Chesapeake Bay Bridge Monday afternoon. A pickup truck carrying a trailer and a minivan collided around 3:45 p.m. Anne Arundel County fire officials said one man who suffered life-threatening injuries was flown to Shock Trauma. A second person was taken to Anne Arundel Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, officials said.

Police: Man Arrested In Baseball Bat Assault. Anne Arundel County police said a man has been arrested and faces charges for striking another man with a baseball bat in a fight in Pasadena. Officers were called to the 7700 block of Moonfall Court for reports of an assault around 3:40 a.m. on Monday. A 43-year-old man told police he and another man got into a fight in the parking lot of the Firehouse Pub.
