BAYPLATE_OurBay-rgbMaryland and Washington, D.C., residents can test their knowledge of the Chesapeake Bay and win prizes by participating in the Bay Quiz Sweepstakes from July 15 to Aug. 11, 2013. Sponsored by Constellation along with Chesapeake Bay Trust, Waterfront Partnership of Baltimore, The Maryland Zoo,  National Aquarium, Baltimore, and Maryland Science Center, the quiz questions highlight the importance of individual conservation measures in preserving the Chesapeake Bay.

“Environmental stewardship and sustainability are community efforts,” said John Quinn, senior manager environmental performance and policy for Constellation. “Constellation is proud to support our quiz partners, including the Maryland Science Center, Maryland Zoo, Chesapeake Bay Trust and Waterfront Partnership of Baltimore, in their efforts to educate and connect more people with sustainable initiatives, especially those focused on our treasure, the Chesapeake Bay.”

Bay Quiz participants are entered in a weekly drawing for a prize:

  • July 22 to July 28 —  Behind-the-scenes tour of The Maryland Zoo
  • July 29 to Aug. 4 — VIP experience at the National Aquarium
  • Aug. 5 to Aug. 11 — Star Party at the Maryland Science Center rooftop observatory
