Walk For Trayvon Planned In Annapolis Tonight

trayvonThe Annapolis Democratic Action Committee and a group named Concerned Citizens of Annapolis are organizing a rally/march to protest the Tayvon Martin – George Zimmerman verdict.

The planned march kicks off at 6:00pm at the Alex Haley Memorial  at City Dock and will proceed up to the Thurgood Marshall Memorial in Lawyers Mall in the shadows of the The Capitol.

The Annapolis Democratic Action Committee is also using the Zimmerman verdict to encourage people to vote and will be providing voter registration forms all summer long at the Harbor House swimming pool.

    Government plans, First distract the people, then divide the people, then simply let the media along with pointless anger do the dirty work. We as people, (not one race) have to understand that this is way larger then we like to admit, its just a lot easier to choose when given the sides to pick. But what about seeing things for what they are, and not what the magicians want you to see them as? I for one will not be a slave to anything, not the media, not the drugs the police can never “War” against or any other form of negativity that is allowed in our communities until its election time.

    Your description of the situation is an erroneous over-simplification. The trial showed things weren’t so cut and dry. And from the contents of Trayvon’s phone, it seems he wasn’t that “innocent”. What justice are you seeking? Zimmerman was arrested and tried. A jury heard all arguments and considered the facts (aka evidence) and exonerated him. That is justice derived from facts, not emotion.

    Why don’t these people stop making this Court Case into a Race issue?? Why not take your efforts and publicity to help control or curb the hundreds of murders that go on in this state…even Annapolis????Why does’nt anybody care to protest all of the young and innocent people gunned downed and murderd by their own friends and neighbors???? Oh wait, the Media doesn’t care, so why should anybody else? Carry on and kill, kill kill yourselves……NUTS!
