Police: Man Killed In Road Rage Incident. Maryland State Police have charged a New Jersey police officer in connection with a fatal shooting Saturday on Interstate 97 in Anne Arundel County that may have stemmed from a road rage incident. Authorities have charged Joseph Walker, 40, of Eastampton, N.J., with second-degree murder and manslaughter. Walker is a detective with the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office.

Police Looking For Pair Of 10-Year Olds In Robbery.  Anne Arundel County police said they are looking for two boys who robbed another young boy in Brooklyn Park. Officers were called to the 100 block of W. Meadow Road for a report of an armed robbery around 5:55 p.m. on Sunday. A 7-year-old Brooklyn Park boy and his mother said he was riding his bicycle behind W. Meadow Road when he was approached by two boys. One boy pushed the victim off his bicycle and took possession of it, while the second boy produced a knife and brandished it at the victim’s 10-year-old brother, police said.

Woman Injured In Purse Snatching Robbery.  A purse-snatcher injured a woman during a robbery in Anne Arundel County, police said. Officers were called to the area of Dorsey Road and Ashton Court in Harmans for a reported robbery around 10:30 p.m. Sunday. A 36-year-old woman told police she was walking westbound on Dorsey Road near Ashton Court when she was approached by a man who grabbed her around the neck and pushed her to the ground. During the struggle, he took her purse and fled southbound through a wooded area, police said.

Crofton McDonald’s RobbedAnne Arundel County police said they are looking for the armed man who robbed a McDonald’s restaurant in Crofton. Officers were called to the 1100 block of Route 3 South for a reported robbery around 3:45 a.m. Sunday. A witness told police that a man came into the business, confronted the manager and brandished a handgun, taking an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing.
