On behalf of Key’s Class of 2016, fifteen-year-old Hannah Webster presented Dr. Lorraine Tafra, Medical Director of the Breast Center at Anne Arundel Medical Center, with a donation of $5,293. The donation was raised through the student-planned May Fair, a community event organized and overseen by Key’s ninth grade class.

In the spring of 2012, Key School’s Class of 2015 initiated the resurrection of a beloved Key tradition after a nearly ten-year recess, raising $5,110 for the Breast Center. Establishing a new practice, with support from class advisors, the May Fair became a ninth grade student led fundraising effort. This spring, the Class of 2016 followed suit, hosting Annapolis families on Key’s campus for an afternoon of pony rides, dunk tanks, and more in support of the Breast Center at Anne Arundel Medical Center.
