Is An ARINC Sale Imminent?

arinc_0_75569General Electric and Rockwell Collins are said to be among the bidders for an auction to acquire Annapolis based ARINC. The company is a more attractive takeover business now that they have spun off their government consulting business to Booz Allen Hamilton late last year.

While a recent Reuters article indicates there may be several bidders, an inside source at ARINC believes that the sale is all but finalized. d.

According to our source, most employees suspect that Rockwell Collins is the successor.

ARINC  was founded in 1929, an designs systems that help airline pilots communicate with the ground. It also provides transport communications and systems for defense, government, healthcare, networks and security sectors. The anticipated sale amount will be between $1.3 and $1.4 billion.
