Community Connections Day

laura-neumanAnne Arundel County Executive Laura Neuman today invited citizens to attend the Summer Community Connections Day and Constituent Open House.

“This is a great opportunity for the community to learn about all the valuable services the County has to offer,” said County Executive Neuman.  “The venue also allows citizens one-on-one access to communicate with me, my administration, and any of our Department Heads to share ideas on how to make our County the best it can be.”

Community Connections Day and Constituent Open House will be held on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at South River Senior High School cafeteria, 201 Central Avenue East, Edgewater.  The County will host the event each quarter, rotating between the northern, southern, eastern, and western regions of the County in order to best serve all communities.

Participating departments and organizations include: Public Works, Inspections & Permits, Planning & Zoning, Social Services, Aging & Disabilities, Animal Control, Police, Fire, Recreation & Parks, Economic Development Corporation, Emergency Management, Arundel Community Development Services, the Volunteer Center, and Workforce Development Corporation just to name a few.

Any citizen who would like to discuss a specific concern may speak with the County Executive on a first-come, first-served basis.  Citizens are encouraged to send their concerns in writing in advance of the event in order to research issues in advance.  You may email County Executive Laura Neuman at [email protected].
