The Anne Arundel Senior Services Provider Group (SPG) held its most recent meeting at the Morningside House of Friendship on May 14. Attending the breakfast program were approximately 50 business members of the organization providing professional services and products for seniors, their families and caregivers.

The next meeting of the Senior Provider Group will be held on June 11 at Somerford Place, an Alzheimer’s/dementia specific community at 2717 Riva Road, Annapolis. During the June meeting, grants will be awarded to area nonprofit organizations which provide services to support older adults throughout Anne Arundel County.

SPG holds monthly community meetings which offer networking opportunities and professional presentations that educate and enlighten audiences on issues of importance to the senior population. Meetings are held at 8:30am on the second Tuesday of each month from September to April at Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church in Severna Park. May and June meetings are held offsite. New members are always welcome. To learn more, see seniorprovidergroup.org.
