Local business owner Victoria Stagmer hosted her first ever live web chat for one of her Winespeak for Women events. TreebranchDESIGN, a Severna Park based internet promotions company, produced the ‘Live chat” with Jim Summers, owner, and Ignacio Blancas, winemaker & vineyard manager of Summers Estate Winery in Napa Valley, California.
“This is our first ever Cyber Wine tasting, and we’ve done over a thousand wine tastings in 20 years.” remarked Jim Summers. Over 20 participants enjoyed a sampling of six delectable Estate wines from Summers Winery, as well as gourmet treats from Victoria’s.
“We do these educational events about once per month,” said Victoria, Certified Wine Specialist, “We normally sample wine with a particular theme from various wineries. This was the first opportunity that the group could directly interact with the people who are producing these wines.” “Our goal,” informed Victoria, “is to offer Winespeak LIVE to showcase wineries from all over the world.”
“That was incredibly interesting,” commented regular attendee, Annette Batson, “We were able to learn so much more about the process of creating these wines. It added a lot to the experience.”
Victoria’s Fancy Foods has gained a reputation in Severna Park for “Clean foods” organic, and in many cases locally produced meats, vegetables, fruits & breads as well as their small yet excellent, hand crafted wine selections.
