carltonThe Bowie Baysox announce today Fresh Prince of Bel-Air Night with special appearance by Alfonso Ribeiro aka ‘Carlton Banks’ at Prince George’s Stadium, Thursday, August 22, as the Baysox take on the Harrisburg Senators at 7:05 p.m. Ribeiro will perform the Carton Dance live during the game and will be signing autographs and posing for photos.

Assistant General Manager Phil Wrye is excited for this event. “If you are a child of the 90s or just a 90s television fan, you probably know the lyrics to the ‘Fresh Prince of Bel-Air’ theme song by heart,” Wrye said. “Anyone who may have tried the Carlton Dance once or twice will not want to miss this chance to see it live at the stadium and also to meet one of the stars from this classic show.”

Ribeiro played the character Carlton Banks for seven seasons (1990-96) on the popular NBC sitcom “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.” In addition to performing the Carlton Dance and signing autographs, Ribeiro will also sing the National Anthem before the game. Ribeiro will be signing autographs on a first come, first served basis for a limited period of time during the game, so fans interested in meeting the TV star should plan on arriving early to get in line.
