Boy, 15, Gets New Heart From Friend Killed In Hit-And-Run. The loss of a young life took an unusual turn when the Pasadena family of a hit-and-run victim realized their gift of organ donation touched someone they knew. When 15-year-old Skylar Marion was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver in mid-April, no one knew that part of him would live on in another 15-year-old, let alone a childhood friend who needed a heart.

Man Arrested On Drug Charges In Glen Burnie.  Anne Arundel County police say they have arrested man on drug-related charges in Glen Burnie. An officer in the area of Crain Highway and 8th Avenue made a routine traffic stop around 1:40 a.m. Friday. Police said the passenger of the vehicle, identified as 24-year-old Michael Anthony English, was arrested for an outstanding warrant.

Vandals Damage Property In Gambrills, Crofton. The Anne Arundel County police are asking the public for help finding the vandals responsible for damaging vehicles and homes in recent weeks. Police on Friday said they have received numerous complaints of destruction to homes and vehicles in the Gambrills and Crofton areas. In several of these incidents, the vandals have thrown large landscaping bricks and boulders through car and house windows.

MD Woman, 83, Missing After Arrival At DC Airport. A Maryland family is pleading for the public’s help in finding a missing 83-year-old woman. Victoria Kong, of Montgomery County, flew into Reagan National Airport around 4 p.m. Friday after going on an extended vacation in Barbados. Family members said they paid for a wheelchair assistant to escort her from her flight to the baggage claim, but she never arrived.
