Woman Cited After Bringing Stun Gun To BWI.  A Bel Air woman was cited by police after Transportation Safety Administration officials said they found a stun gun in her carry-on baggage at Baltimore-Washington Thurgood Marshall Airport. The woman, who hasn’t been identified, brought the bag to the airport Friday evening.

Phone Stolen In Glen Burnie Armed Robbery.  Anne Arundel County police said are investigating an armed robbery in Glen Burnie. Officers were called to the 7600 block of Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard in Glen Burnie for a report of a robbery around 12:30 a.m. Monday. A 15-year-old victim told police two men approached him in the area of West Furnace Branch Road and the Interstate 97 overpass and one of them brandished a handgun while the other man stole his phone.

Fire Crews Investigate Recycling Plant Blaze.  Anne Arundel County fire officials are trying to figure out what caused several pallets and trailers to catch fire at a recycling plant. The flames broke out around 6:20 p.m. Monday at the plant on Baltimore-Annapolis Boulevard in Linthicum. Crews stayed at the scene for several hours. Officials said no one was hurt.

Fire From CSX Train Derailment Quelled. No more smoke could be seen in the sky Wednesday morning, signalling progress at the Rosedale site where a CSX train collided with a large trash truck Tuesday afternoon, leading to a massive explosion that was felt for miles around and a fire that burned for hours. The state Fire Marshal’s Office said early Wednesday morning that the fire was brought under control just before midnight and that crews had been reduced to fire watch by 5 a.m., just waiting for any hotspots to occur.
