Burglar Caught Red Handed In LinthicumAnne Arundel County police said they caught a burglar red-handed in Linthicum. Officers were called to a home in the 6500 block of Englewood Road around 2:10 p.m. Tuesday for a report of a burglary in progress. A woman told police she heard someone on her roof and then she heard them enter her home. The woman ran to a neighbor’s home, where she called police.

Lockheed Marting Adding Jobs To Combat Hackers. Lockheed Martin said it plans to increase its workforce to combat hackers. The company said it’s looking for network engineers, systems analysts and software developers to work on its cybersecurity unit at its Hanover location. Anyone who is interested in one of the positions should click here.

Police: Glen Burnie Homeowners Confront Burglar. Homeowners alerted police in Anne Arundel County after they confronted a burglar in their Glen Burnie home. Police said officers responded to a home in the 7100 block of Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard around 10:40 a.m. Wednesday and found the burglar walking outside the home.

Man Charged With Arson In Girlfriend’s Apartment Fire. Maryland state fire marshals said police arrested a Joppa man Sunday on accusations that he set two fires inside his girlfriend’s apartment. Ryan Lawerence Spann, 28, was taken into custody without incident. The arrest came after Spann’s girlfriend, who lives in a unit at the Calvert’s Walk Apartments in the 200 block of Foxhall Drive, entered her home at 1 a.m. Sunday to find smoke and an alarm sounding
