Annapolis Fire Displaces 2, Destroys Home

Around 10:30 a.m. on May 26, 2013, 911 calls were received reporting a house fire in the 1900 block of Sleepy Hollow Lane in the Lindamoor Community of Annapolis.

The first unit to arrive on the scene reported a two-story single family home well involved in fire and immediately requested an “All Hands” assignment bringing a total of 44 Firefighters to the scene.  The incident was placed under control within 50 minutes and caused in excess of $300,000 to the home.

Two adults were displaced from the home and were assisted by the Red Cross.  The exact cause of the fire remains under investigation and no injuries were reported.
