BWI Introduces Walking Trails Inside Terminal. If you have a lot of time on your hands while waiting for a flight at the airport, Baltimore-Washington Thurgood Marshall International Airport has a healthy new option for you. BWI has opened up two walking paths inside the airport as a way to encourage travelers to exercise between flights. The announcement came on National Walking Day and is in conjunction with the American Heart Association’s campaign to highlight exercise and healthier lifestyles.

Man Sought In Glen Burnie RobberiesAnne Arundel County police are looking for the public’s help in finding the culprit who robbed a Royal Farms in Glen Burnie at gunpoint and then tried to rob a different store about a week later. The armed robbery happened at the Royal Farms store in the 7200 block of Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard around 3:40 a.m. on March 22. Nearly a week later, around 3 a.m. on March 28, police said the same man tried to rob the Royal Farms at 200 Oak Manor Drive.

Maryland House Passes Gun Control Bill.  The Maryland House of Delegates passed sweeping gun control legislation 78-61 on Wednesday, sending it back to a Senate conference committee after significant changes had been made since its inception. The Senate committee is expected to look at the changes Thursday and either accept them or try to work out a compromise with the House.

Growing Tension Worries Korean-Americans In Maryland. As tension grows between North and South Korea, tens of thousands of Korean-Americans in Maryland hold out hope for peace. Ashley Choi, a senior undergraduate student at Johns Hopkins University studying international studies, is among a very tight-knit Korean-American community in Maryland. “I am concerned that maybe this time they’re not just threatening us,” she said.
