Hospice of the Chesapeake’s 2013 Gala attended by close to 500 local supporters and raised more than $350,000 to help support the many programs and services provided to patients and families in both Anne Arundel and Prince George’s counties.

The annual event, themed “Body, Mind, Spirit” was held March 16 at the BWI Hilton Hotel where attendees enjoyed dinner, dancing, live and silent auctions and musical entertainment by Radio City. This year’s gala honored the Thomas and Peggy Baldwin family of Severna Park and Crownsville for their dedication and commitment to the Hospice of the Chesapeake’s mission and programs.

The lead sponsors of the gala were BankAnnapolis and First National Bank as well as Greenberg Gibbons Commercial and The Wilburn Company. The live and silent auctions were made possible by the generosity of Hospice of the Chesapeake supporters and local businesses. Dozens of volunteers and Hospice of the Chesapeake staff contributed to the success of this major fundraiser for the nonprofit.
