skd273191sdcAnne Arundel County Executive Laura Neuman is encouraging potential homebuyers to attend the Annual Housing Expo this month in Glen Burnie to meet lenders, Realtors and housing counselors for tips on navigating the process.

“Many potential homebuyers have wisely waited for prices to drop before entering the market, and now is the time,” County Executive Neuman said. “At this event you can get the one-on-one counseling you need to make the right decision and learn about government financing options that can help you realize the dream of owning a home.”

The Housing Expo will be held on Saturday, April 20, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Marley Middle School. The event features mini workshops, refreshments, activities for the kids and a chance to win $500 towards your closing costs when you purchase a home.
