AMM Presents Boats On The Bay

Serenity_BoyntonThe Annapolis Maritime Museum presents “Boats of the Bay.” Local art promoter Dave Murphy has gathered together a group of 12 local artists, including Lee Boynton and Carolyn Councell, whose works interpret all types of vessels that make the Bay their home. In various media they all tell the tale of the way we work and play on the Chesapeake Bay.

The show will open with an artists’ reception on Wednesday April 24, from 5:30-7 p.m. The public is invited. For those who appreciate the advantages of our wonderful treasure, the Chesapeake Bay, this show is a must see.

The exhibit will run from April 24 to June 30. All the works of art are for sale with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the Annapolis Maritime Museum. The Museum is open Thursday through Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.
