Claude AnShin Thomas, Zen Monk, Offers 3 Events In Annapolis

3A-AnShinThomas-600x4001Claude AnShin Thomas, Monk in the Zen Peacemakers Order, veteran with two Purple Hearts from Vietnam, author of At Hell’s Gate, offers three events at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Annapolis, 333 Dubois Rd.

Claude AnShin fled a childhood of abuse by lying about his age to enlist in the army at sixteen, returning from Vietnam with undiagnosed PTSD, and sinking into addiction.

He will teach others spiritual Recovery from trauma or addiction: Thurs. May 9, 7-9 PM., a talk, “The Real Costs of War.” Fri. May 10, 9AM -5 PM, a seminar for veterans only delving into “The Real Costs of War”.  Sat. May 11. 9 AM – 5 PM, a seminar for everyone on “The Courage to Change.”
