Neuman Appoints Eastport Resident As Community Affairs Special Assistant

MussogAnne Arundel County Executive Laura Neuman announced the appointment of Julie Mussog as Special Assistant for Community Affairs.

“Julie is a great addition to our team who brings a lot of experience as a civic activist and someone who knows how to solve problems for constituents,” County Executive Neuman said. “She will provide direction for the Office of Community and Constituent Services in addition to her other duties.”

Mussog recently worked as a legislative assistant for Delegate Herb McMillan. She holds a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree from the University of Michigan in business administration. Mussog is a founder of the Eastport Girls Club and a member of the Eastport Civic Association. She will serve as the county executive’s liaison to the Commission on Excellence, which will review County agencies and recommend best practices.
