WOD For A Cause

4milCrossFit Annapolis is partnering with Team4Mil to host a fundraiser in support of the Team4Mil Wounded Veteran training program. The Workout of the Day (WOD) for the fundraiser will consist of body-weight exercises that anyone can do and it is open to the public. In addition to the CrossFit style WOD, there will be a “Tap Out” competition to test participants’ endurance for prizes.  All proceeds will benefit Team4Mil and its Wounded Veteran athletes in the Race Across America.

The Race Across America is an endurance sporting event that take cyclists of all levels from Oceanside, Calif., to Annapolis, Md. They travel 3000 miles across 12 states and climb more than 170,000 vertical feet. This is all done in no more than nine days. Team4Mil works with Wounded Veterans and active-duty service members to train and compete in this test of speed, endurance, strength and camaraderie. Team4Mil focuses on mentoring, training and logistical support for Wounded Veteran individuals and teams with its capstone event being the Race Across America.

The event will be held  at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 20th at CrossFit Annapolis – 1790 Virginia Ave., Annapolis, Md. 21401

Participants can register on-site the day of the event. There is a suggested $20 donation and prizes will be given out to the winners of the “Tap Out” competitions.  All proceeds will go directly to Team4Mil.
