“Imaginations Run Wild” At Next LSO Concert This Sunday

C. Chudacoff 1-05Highlighted composers let their imaginations run wild for your enjoyment. The Londontowne Symphony Orchestra’s concert on April 21 at Annapolis High School at 3 PM will be sure to capture your hearts and rouse your imaginations.  Be inspired by Manuel de Falla’s Three Cornered Hat Suite No. 1, Franz Schubert’s Rondo for Violin and Strings in A Major (featuring Claudia Chudacoff of the U.S. Marine’s White House Orchestra) and Georges Bizet’s Symphony No. 1.

Violinist Claudia Chudacoff appears frequently as soloist and chamber musician throughout the Washington area. She is a member of both the Sunrise Quartet and the National Gallery Quartet, and has performed regularly on several chamber series, including the Embassy Series, the Holocaust Memorial Museum, National Musical Arts, the Contemporary Music Forum and with the Fessenden Ensemble. In 2011, Ms. Chudacoff participated along with the Sunrise Quartet in the International Festival of Sacred Music in Quito, Ecuador. She also appeared in a recent broadcast for West Virginia Public Television featuring that group. She can be heard on many recordings and radio broadcasts, including several appearances on National Public Radio’s Performance Today program.

The LSO, directed by Anna Binneweg, serves the community with quality classical music by continuing to highlight the gems of the orchestral repertoire while featuring wonderfully talented local soloists and outstanding orchestra members.

General admission for the concert is $15, seniors are $10, and all students are free. Tickets are available at the door or before the concert by visiting www.LSO-music.org or by calling (410) 562-8920.

The LSO is Anne Arundel County’s community orchestra and one of the area’s premier orchestras.
