Teen Robs Mall Patron At Gunpoint For Tennis Shoes

ScrivnerUPDATE: Police have identified the suspect and he has been charged as an adult.  The suspect is Jesse Jordan Scrivner, a 16-year old male from the 700 block of Crucible Ct in Glen Burnie.

On March 8, 2013 at approximately 2158 hours officers responded to the parking lot area of Marley Station Mall at 7900 Ritchie Hwy in reference to a robbery that just occurred. Information was received that a subject had his tennis shoes taken at gunpoint. Officers located a victim who advised that the suspect displayed a black handgun and demanded that he remove his shoes. The victim gave the suspect his shoes and the suspect fled on foot. A subject matching the description of the suspect was located nearby, and the victim positively identified him as the one who took his shoes. The shoes were recovered near the suspect. The victim was not injured in the incident. The suspect is a 16 year old male from Millersville Glen Burnie. He was taken into custody and charged with robbery.
