Tractor Trailer Overturns On Bay Bridge. Anne Arundel County officials reopened the Bay Bridge after inclement weather conditions caused two incidents to shut it down for hours Wednesday. Officials believe wind may have caused a tractor-trailer to overturn on the westbound side of the bridge around 2 p.m. Wednesday.

Police Looking For 2 Edgewater RobbersAnne Arundel County police say they are looking for two robbers. Officers were called to the Verizon Executive Wireless store in the unit block of Lee Airpark Drive in Edgewater around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday. A store employee said he was closing the business when the two people walked in and began talking with him. Police said one of them approached him from behind and stuck what was believed to be a handgun in his back. The pair then stole an unknown quantity of new cellphones and cash before fleeing.

Advocates Push Non Infringing Gun Control Bill. Gun rights advocates who converged Tuesday on Annapolis focused on gun bills before a House committee — bills that, in their words, do not infringe on Second Amendment rights. Past demonstrations have zeroed in on what’s wrong with the governor’s bill, but this one focused on other bills.

6 Injured When School Bus, Car Collide. Six people were injured after a school bus and car collided in Frederick County. Officials said it happened along Route 75 in Libertytown around 3:20 p.m. Tuesday. Authorities said five people on the bus were taken to Frederick Memorial Hospital with minor injuries. One person in the car was taken to Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown with unknown injuries.
