Rabies, Microchip Clinic Offered To AA County Residents. Anne Arundel County Animal Control is offering an extended rabies and microchip clinic for the public. The clinic will be held at Anne Arundel County Animal Control at 411 Maxwell Frye Road in Millersville. The clinic, which normally runs from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m., will be extended until 8 p.m. on March 21.

Obama To Speak At USNA Graduation. President Barack Obama is scheduled to speak at the U.S. Naval Academy’s graduation in May. Vice Adm. Michael Miller, the superintendent, told the academy’s Board of Visitors on Monday that the president had committed to speak at the May 24 commissioning ceremony. Judy Campbell, an academy spokeswoman, says 16 U.S. presidents have addressed graduating classes at the academy in Annapolis, which is about 30 miles from Washington.

13 BMWs Damaged At Dealership Fire.  Officials in Annapolis are looking into what caused a fire at a BMW dealership that damaged several vehicles. Managers at the BMW of Annapolis along Old Mill Bottom Road said they got to the dealership around 5:30 a.m. Monday to find a car on fire in the bay of the service area. Fire officials said 12 other BMWs that were also in the service area were affected, totaling about $800,000 in damage.

Police Look For Severna Park Bank Robber.  Anne Arundel County police are asking for the public’s help finding a robber who struck at a Capital One Bank in Severna Park. Police released images of the robber on Monday. Officers were called to the 500 block of Ritchie Highway around 3 p.m. on Feb. 22. Police said a man displayed a note demanding money and took an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing the bank.
