2 People Injured In Linthicum Crash. Two people were injured in a serious Linthicum crash, Anne Arundel County police said. Crews found a Chevrolet Corvette resting against a utility pole in the area of Hammonds Ferry Road and Evelyn Avenue in Linthicum around 11 p.m. Wednesday. Police said the driver was identified as 44-year-old Harry Franklin White.

Leopold Gets Jail For Misconduct.  A judge on Thursday told former Anne Arundel County Executive John Leopold he will serve time in jail after being convicted earlier this year of misconduct in office. Leopold resigned in February after Judge Dennis Sweeney found him guilty of misusing his county office staff and his security detail by forcing them to do personal errands and campaign work for him.

Woman Killed When Hit By Car In Pasadena. Anne Arundel County fire officials said a pedestrian was killed when she was hit by a car early Thursday morning in Curtis Bay. The crash happened around 6:50 a.m. at the intersection of Fort Smallwood Road and Pittman Road. Fire officials said the victim was identified as 35-year-old Karla Wilson. She was taken to Baltimore Washington Medical Center, where she died.

Police: Man Tries To Rob Hip Hop ChickenAnne Arundel County police said they arrested a man in connection with an attempted robbery at a Glen Burnie business. Officers were called to the Hip Hop Chicken in the 6600 block of Ritchie Highway around 10 p.m. Wednesday. An employee told police that a man came into the business, assaulted him and attempted to take the money out of the cash drawer.
