The Kevin E. Reichardt Foundation is accepting nominations for the 2013 Kevin E. Reichardt Foundation Leadership Award. The award is given to an individual who makes outstanding contributions to the economic, social, and cultural life of the Anne Arundel County community.
Nomination information and a submission form are available at www.reichardtfoundation.com. The deadline for nominations is March 15, 2013.
The Leadership Award winner will be announced on April 1, 2013 and will be presented with a plaque honoring their contributions at halftime of the Chesapeake Bayhawks lacrosse game on June 1, 2013. This fall, the award recipient will be asked to be a presenting speaker at a workshop for high performing high school student leaders from Anne Arundel County who have been accepted into the Kevin E. Reichardt Leadership Program.
The Kevin E. Reichardt Foundation was founded in January of 1995 and since then, the Foundation has awarded over 50 partial college, community college and St. Mary’s High School scholarships to deserving community leaders and students who embody the characteristics of Kevin.
2013 is the inaugural year for the Kevin E. Reichardt Leadership Program. This program will recognize student leaders in Anne Arundel County high schools for their accomplishments and will provide them with the opportunity to meet with successful leaders and each other to foster additional growth in leadership skills. One student each year will be recognized with the Kevin E. Reichardt Leadership Scholarship.
