Fundraiser To Support St. Paddy’s Day Parade

| March 1, 2013 | 0 Comments

4-leaf-cloverGalway Bay Irish Pub will host a fundraiser to benefit the committee for Annapolis’s First Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade. The fundraiser is scheduled for March 2nd from 12 noon to 3:00pm.

The volunteer committee was created by Annapolitan, John O’Leary, when he found that Annapolis did not have a parade planned. The parade is not City sponsored or funded, and therefore fundraising is needed to help support their efforts in planning and organizing this new event.

The Fundraiser will feature Irish singer & song-writer John McGrath, who hails originally from Northern Ireland, and sings a wide range of Irish music and popular tunes. The event will also feature Irish dancers, give-aways, auction items, and more as plans develop.

For more information about the parade, contact parade coordinator John O’Leary at 443-822-5871 and check out the parade’s Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/NapPadParade
