UPDATE: ABC2 has more details of the arrest including a video clip from their broadcast.

The Capital’s online news editor has been arrested and charged with online solicitation of a minor according to the Pennsylvania Attorney General.  George Nicoll Lundskow was arrested yesterday by Anne Arundel County police at his Arnold home on a fugitive from justice warrant and has been committed to the Jennifer Road Detention Center until Pennsylvania authorities take him into custody.

According to an article in The Capital, he has been accused of trying to get a person he thought to be a 14-year-old girl to have sex with him. In addition, authorities  also believe that he may have had inappropriate contact with a 13-year old friend of his daughter.

We reached out to new Editor Steve Gunn on twitter to find out if Lundskow was still employed Gunn immediately replied, “No comment on personnel matters.”
