Baltimore Woman Arrested On Drug ChargesAnne Arundel County police said they arrested a 21-year-old Baltimore woman on drug-related charges. Police said plain-clothes officers were in the 4900 block of Ritchie Highway when they initiated a traffic stop on a car they watched numerous times during the evening.

Police Looking For Glen Burnie Wawa Robber.  Anne Arundel County police are looking for a robber who struck at a Glen Burnie store. Officers were called to the Wawa convenience store in the 7600 block of Quarterfield Road in Glen Burnie for a robbery that happened around 3:40 a.m. Wednesday. A store clerk told police that a man entered the store, approached the cash register, displayed a knife and demanded money. The clerk complied and gave the robber an undisclosed amount of cash.

Source: Instructor Grabbed Wrong Weapon, Shot Recruit. Sources have told the 11 News I-Team that the shooting Tuesday of a police recruit during a training exercise shows there’s a “total lack of institutional control” in the Baltimore Police Department. The recruit was shot and critically wounded Tuesday afternoon during a training session at the site of the former Rosewood State Hospital in Owings Mills.

Man, 71, Accused Of Stealing $31K From Walmart. A Maryland man is being accused of not paying for about $30,000 in Walmart goods over several years, telling a cashier that he would hurt her family if she didn’t give him items for free. The Carroll County Times reported that Franklin Rheubottom, 71, of Sykesville, was arrested Tuesday.
