Couple Robbed, Assaulted In Upscale Annapolis Neighborhood

Crime SceneOn February 23, 2013, at approximately 3:12 a.m., officers from the Southern District responded to the 700 block of Harness Creek View Drive in Annapolis for a report of a disorderly conduct.

The caller advised there was possibly a party in the neighborhood and a subject was on his property at one point. While en route, officers received a call for a report of a robbery of citizens. Officers responded  and learned that the incident took place on Harness Creek View Drive. The victims, a 22-year-old female and a 24-year-old male, reported that they were walking on Harness Creek View Drive when two vehicles approached them. Four male suspects exited the vehicles, assaulted the victims with an unknown object and took the female victim’s purse and the male victim’s cell phone before fleeing the area in two sedans. The victims sustained minor injuries and later received medical treatment. Several officers and a K-9 unit searched the area, but were unable to locate the suspects. The investigation is ongoing.

Suspects: Four black males in their late teens to early 20’s
