Body Of Murdered Annapolis Baby Found

UpdateLate Thursday night Annapolis police officers recovered the body of two year old Kassidey Booth, who was killed by her mother, Chelsea Booth, earlier this week.

After the Annapolis Police Department became aware the victim was missing Chelsea Booth admitted she killed her daughter and disposed of her body in a dumpster.  Annapolis police detectives were able to track the contents of the dumpster to a refuse transition station in Maryland where the contents had been loaded onto rail cars for transport to a landfill out of state.  Assisted by Annapolis Fire Department, officers conducted a systematic search of the rail cars and located the child’s body amongst more than 95 tons of refuse.  Annapolis Police Department would like to thank Waste Management’s Jessup MD Facility and the district manager, Chris Isakov, and the Department of Public Worksfor coordinating the equipment that was needed.  Their help led to the speedy recovery of the child’s body.

Chelsea Booth was been charged with first and second degree murder and first degree child abuse resulting in death.  She is being held without bail at the Jennifer Road Detention Center.
