Couple Discovers Human Skull While Hiking. A man told police he and his girlfriend were bird-watching and hiking in Laurel when they saw what they thought was a human skull in the woods. The man called police after the discovery, and officers were called to the area of Spring Road and Whiskey Bottom Road around 12 p.m. Sunday. Teacher’s Aide Charged With Sexual Abuse. A teachers’ aide at Bel Air High School in Harford County has been charged with sexual abuse. Police said 24-year-old Anthony Farris is accused of having a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old student over the span of about four months between September and December of 2012. Authorities said the activity allegedly took place in one of the Bel Air High School offices.
