2 Seriously Injured In Brooklyn Park Fire.  Anne Arundel County fire officials are still trying to figure out what caused a house fire in Brooklyn Park on Sunday night. Firefighters were called to the 500 block of Wood Street around 7:30 p.m. Sunday, where they found two men suffering from burns and other severe injuries. Officials said one man was taken to Johns Hopkins Bayview with life-threatening injuries.

Boy Ejected From Dirt Bike In Crash Seriously Injured. A 12-year-old boy suffered serious injuries Saturday after colliding a dirt bike into a van, Anne Arundel County police said. County police said the crash occurred shortly after 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the 500 block of Friendship Road in Friendship. Police said the boy was riding on the side of the road, and when the van went to pass him, the boy abruptly turned left into the path of the van. Police said the van’s driver attempted to avoid the boy but couldn’t.

Several Injured In Harwood Crash. Four people were injured in a crash in Anne Arundel County on Friday. Authorities said a collision occurred in the 4400 block of Solomons Island Road (Route 2) in Harwood just south of Southern High School at 4:08 p.m. Police said a pickup truck was traveling south on Solomons Island Road when it hit a minivan that was preparing to make a left turn into a driveway.

Police Investigating Severna Park Bank Robbery.  Authorities in Anne Arundel County are asking for the public’s help in connnection with a bank robbery Friday afternoon. Police said man passed a note demanding money at the Capital One Bank in the 500 block of Ritchie Highway in Serverna Park shortly before 3 p.m. The man fled with an undisclosed amount of money.
