Annapolis and Chesapeake Bay enthusiasts who are mapping out this year’s vacation plans could find just the information they’re looking for in the 2013 Visitors Guide released by the Annapolis & Anne Arundel County Conference and Visitors Bureau (AAACCVB) this month. The 72-page, full-color guide contains information on things to do and see, events, dining, nightlife, accommodations, shopping and much more.

AAACCVB President and CEO Connie Del Signore says the new publication is designed to simplify the planning process for visitors and area residents. “QR codes and website addresses throughout the book make it easy for smart phone users to quickly pull up more detailed information. Back by popular demand, one of the QR codes takes history lovers to a self-guided walking tour mobile application of downtown Annapolis’s historic attractions.” One-hundred-twenty-thousand copies of the 2013 Visitors Guides were printed for distribution this year.

Del Signore invites interested individuals to stop by the AAACCVB’s 26 West Street Visitors Center to pick up a copy of the guide today. The Visitors Center is open from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. seven days a week. The guides will also be distributed from the AAACCVB’s satellite Information Booth at City Dock when it reopens for the season on March 22. A dowloadable version of the publication is available on the AAACCVB’s website at http://www.visitannapolis.org/visitor-guide.

The AAACCVB is a nonprofit, membership-based, destination marketing organization that generates revenues for the local economy by promoting Annapolis and Anne Arundel County to leisure and business travelers across the country and around the world.
