Pasadena Auto Theft Arrest

Troy Fry

On January 15, 2013, members of the Anne Arundel County Police Department’s Traffic Safety Section and Criminal Investigation Division worked a joint auto theft operation. At approximately 3:30 p.m., uniformed officers from the Traffic Safety Section stopped a 1988 Peterbuilt truck bearing Tennessee registration plates for a commercial motor vehicle inspection in the area of Marley Neck Boulevard in Glen Burnie.

During the inspection, officers observed what appeared to be the remnants of a vehicle that had been dismantled in the bed of the truck. Consequently, members of the Auto Theft Unit responded to the scene and identified parts of the vehicle as coming from a 1999 Freightliner tow truck that was stolen from Chaz Towing, LLC on January 5, 2013. Two suspects were arrested on scene and charges are pending against a third suspect.

  • Suspect #1: Troy Lamar Fry, 42, of 631 Laurel Drive, Pasadena, Md
  • Suspect #2: Kenneth Eugene Hatch, 66, of 115 Magnolia Avenue, Pasadena, Md
