Double Shooting In Odenton

Raynard Boston, wanted in connection with Odenton shooting.

On January 19, 2013, at approximately 1:25 a.m., officers from the Western District responded to the My Place Bar and Lounge located in the 1600 block of Annapolis Road in Odenton for a report of a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers learned that there was a verbal altercation occurred between an employee (bouncer) and a patron, later identified as Raynard Boston. During the altercation, the patron shot at the 45-year-old male employee several times. As a result, the victim was struck in the lower body area. Additionally, an innocent 34-year-old male bystander also sustained a gunshot wound to his hand. The suspect immediately fled the scene. Several officers canvassed the area, but were unable to locate the suspect. Both victims were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. District Detectives are currently investigating the incident.

An arrest warrant has since been obtained for 25-year-old Raynard Leo Boston, charging him with Attempt Second Degree Murder, First Degree Assault, Reckless Endangerment and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon. Boston has no fixed address and his whereabouts are unknown at this time. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the wanted suspect is asked to immediately dial 9-1-1 as the subject is potentially armed and dangerous.
