Arrests Made In Local Robberies

robberyOn December 31, 2012, at approximately 2:36 p.m., officers from the Southern District responded to the Alexander’s Spa located in the 2300 block of Forest Drive in Annapolis for a robbery complaint.

While officers were en route, the dispatcher advised that the owner of Alexander’s Spa was following the suspect, who entered the business earlier, approached the counter and demanded money from employees, who complied and turned over an undisclosed amount of money to the suspect. The suspect then fled the scene in a Ford Explorer. Units quickly converged in the area and located the suspect vehicle, which was stopped in the parking lot of the Annapolis Harbour Center in the 2500 block of Solomons Island Road. The investigation is ongoing and charges are pending in that case. No booking photos are being released due to the ongoing investigation.
