UpdateUPDATE: From the Anne Arundel County Police:

Regarding the crash last evening involving four pedestrians, a third pedestrian (the other 16-year-old male) has since been discharged from Shock Trauma.

Two pedestrians, a 16-year-old and 20-year-old male were discharged from Shock Trauma last evening and two pedestrians, a 16-year-old male and a 19-year-old female remain at Trauma in stable condition.

Initial information indicated that last night at 5:33 p.m., a Saturn Vue was making a left turn from Quarterfield Road onto the Route 100 East ramp when it struck four pedestrians crossing the other side of the ramp on Quartefield. The pedestrians were all transported to Shock Trauma after the crash. The vehicle remained on the scene.

Preliminary information indicates there were no streetlights or crosswalk where the group crossed. A possible contributing factor in the crash is pedestrian error.
