Man Wanted In Credit Card Theft.  Police in Anne Arundel County are asking for the public’s help to find a man who stole a wallet from a car in Crofton on Dec. 17. Police said the man used a credit card at a Royal Farms. If you have any information regarding this investigation, call Detective J.S. Maryland Live! Opens 24-Hours. Maryland’s largest casino will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Maryland Live! at Arundel Mills Mall unlocked its doors for the last time on Thursday morning. Previously, Maryland casinos could be open from 8 a.m. to 2 a.m. Sunday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 4 a.m. Friday and Saturday. But an expansion of gambling approved by lawmakers in August and voters in November included the expansion of hours for the state’s casinos.

Early Look At Possible Snowfall Saturday. Another potential snowmaker moves into the Mid-Atlantic on Saturday. This time, snow and ice could reach a little father south and east. Friday – Snow showers begin to develop from the southwest after Midnight. Saturday morning – snow becomes more widespread around 7 am for central and northern areas, with an icy mix southeast of I-95. The bulk of the snow and ice accumulations occur by 12 pm.

Gun Sales Increase In Maryland.  Amid national talk of gun control, sales have increased in Maryland, the WBAL-TV 11 News I-Team reported. There were more than 7,200 gun-purchase applications filed in November, according to Maryland State Police data. It’s too early to tell the number for December, the month in which 26 adults and children were killed at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn.
