Multi-Car Crash Closes Part Of I-97 Over Weekend.  A multi-vehicle crash seriously injured several passengers and shut down a part of Interstate 97 Sunday morning, according to Anne Arundel County officials. Four cars were involved in the crash along southbound I-97 between the New Cut Road and Benfield Boulevard exits in Millersville.  It took firefighters 20 minutes to extricate the injured passengers.

Man Wanted In Annapolis Double Shooting.  Police said they are looking for a man, considered armed and very dangerous, who is wanted in connection with a double shooting. Annapolis police officers were called to a home at 1458 Tyler Avenue for a report of a shooting around 9:20 p.m. Wednesday and found the victims inside.

Glen Burnie Drug Bust Yields Four ArrestsAnne Arundel County police said they made several arrests in a Glen Burnie drug bust. Detectives executed a search warrant at 109 Queen Anne Road around 10 p.m. Thursday. Authorities said the warrant stemmed from numerous neighborhood complaints of drug activity at the home. Four individuals were arrested and detectives seized heroin, crack cocaine, guns, and CDS paraphernalia (scales and packaging material), police said.

I-97 Hit-And-Run Victim’s Family Speaks Out. The family of a man killed in a hit-and-run earlier this week on Interstate 97 is speaking out in the hopes that someone coming forward with information to catch the driver. Wilmer Borgmann III, 50, of Millersville, died in the crash on Tuesday morning, and his family said they want to make sure his case isn’t forgotten. So far, investigators have received no information that could bring his family closer to closure and justice.
